01

Agreement to these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Our Chapter in relation to your use of Our Chapter.

By creating an account, accessing a wedding workspace, purchasing a service, or otherwise using Our Chapter, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not create an account or use the platform.

02

About Our Chapter

Our Chapter is a wedding planning and guest experience platform designed to help couples manage information related to their celebration.

Features may include wedding websites, guest lists, RSVP collection, seating plans, budgets, guest check-in and other wedding planning tools.

Our Chapter is currently preparing for formal Singapore business registration. Legal entity, UEN and registered business information will be updated once registration is completed.

03

Eligibility

You may only create or control an Our Chapter account if you have the legal capacity to enter into an agreement under applicable law.

If you use Our Chapter on behalf of another person, organisation or wedding party, you represent that you have authority to do so.

Guests do not necessarily need to create an Our Chapter account in order to submit an RSVP, access a public wedding website or use certain guest-facing features.

04

Registration and confirmation codes

Account registration may require an invitation, confirmation code or other approval from the Our Chapter team.

Confirmation codes are intended for the person or wedding they are issued to and should not be sold, transferred, published or used to gain unauthorised access.

We may refuse, suspend or revoke registration access where we reasonably believe a code or account is being misused.

05

Account responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activity carried out through your account.

You must provide reasonably accurate information and keep your account information up to date.

You should notify Our Chapter promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation.

06

Wedding workspaces

An Our Chapter wedding workspace may contain information about the couple, guests, RSVP responses, seating, budgets, wedding-day operations and other planning details.

The couple or authorised account users are responsible for deciding what information to enter, upload, publish or manage through their workspace.

You must not use a wedding workspace to collect information that is excessive, unlawful or unrelated to legitimate wedding planning purposes.

07

Guest information

You may add guest information to Our Chapter where you have an appropriate basis to do so for your wedding.

You are responsible for ensuring that guest information you provide is reasonably accurate and is used for appropriate wedding-related purposes.

You must not use Our Chapter guest information for unrelated marketing, harassment, discrimination or other improper purposes.

Guest information may be processed by Our Chapter in order to provide the service, as further described in our Privacy Policy.

08

RSVP forms and custom questions

Couples may configure RSVP forms and, where available, create custom questions.

You are responsible for the questions you ask guests and should only request information that is reasonably necessary for your wedding.

You should avoid requesting financial information, government identification numbers, passwords, medical records or other highly sensitive information unless there is a clear and lawful reason to do so.

09

Public wedding websites

Wedding websites created through Our Chapter may be publicly accessible to anyone who has or discovers the relevant URL.

You are responsible for the text, images, contact information and other content that you choose to publish.

You should not publish private or confidential information that you do not want publicly accessible.

Our Chapter does not promise that a public wedding website is private merely because the URL has only been shared with selected people.

10

Seating and check-in

Seating and check-in tools are intended to support wedding planning and actual-day operations.

Table assignments, seat assignments and check-in information depend on data entered or maintained by the couple and authorised users.

Couples should verify important seating or operational information before relying on the platform during the wedding.

Our Chapter is a planning tool and is not responsible for venue operations, banquet service, physical seating, event security or the actions of wedding vendors or guests.

11

Budget tools

Budget features are provided for organisational and planning purposes only.

Information displayed in the budget workspace depends on amounts and records entered by users.

Our Chapter does not provide accounting, tax, financial or legal advice and does not guarantee that budget calculations or records are complete for any external purpose.

12

Acceptable use

You must use Our Chapter lawfully and responsibly.

You must not:

  • Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent or deceptive purposes.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to another account, wedding workspace, database or system.
  • Interfere with or disrupt the operation or security of Our Chapter.
  • Upload malicious code, malware or harmful material.
  • Scrape, harvest or extract information from the platform in an unauthorised manner.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority.
  • Use the service to harass, threaten or abuse another person.
  • Upload or publish content that infringes intellectual property, privacy or other rights.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to derive source code except where applicable law expressly permits it.
  • Resell, sublicense or commercially exploit access to Our Chapter unless we expressly agree otherwise.
13

Your content

You retain ownership of content that you lawfully own and upload or create through Our Chapter.

You grant Our Chapter a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, reproduce, process, display and otherwise use that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, maintain and provide the service.

You represent that you have the rights and permissions necessary to upload and use content through the platform.

14

Our intellectual property

Our Chapter, including its software, platform design, branding, interfaces, templates, visual elements, documentation and original content, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, no ownership rights are transferred to you.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative products from protected Our Chapter material without permission, except where permitted by law.

15

Plans and pricing

Our Chapter may offer free, discounted, promotional or paid access depending on the plan available at the time.

Our Chapter currently intends primarily to offer paid wedding access on a one-time basis, although the exact pricing structure may change before or after commercial launch.

The price, included features and other applicable commercial terms shown when you purchase a plan will form part of your agreement with us.

16

Future subscription plans

We may introduce optional subscription plans or recurring services in the future.

We will not convert a one-time purchase into a recurring paid subscription merely by updating these Terms.

If you choose a recurring plan, the applicable billing frequency, price and renewal terms will be presented before you purchase or subscribe.

17

Payments

Paid plans may be processed through third-party payment providers selected by Our Chapter.

You agree to provide accurate billing information and to pay charges that you expressly authorise.

Payment providers may have their own terms and privacy policies.

We do not currently state a specific payment provider in these Terms because the final commercial payment implementation has not yet been selected.

18

Promotions and discounted pricing

From time to time, Our Chapter may offer launch discounts, promotional prices, invitation offers or other limited promotions.

Promotions may be subject to additional eligibility, availability or time restrictions communicated with the offer.

A promotional price does not create an entitlement to the same price for future purchases or plans.

19

Refunds and cancellations

Any refund, cancellation or change policy applicable to a paid plan will be disclosed at or before purchase.

Where no specific policy is shown, you may contact Our Chapter to request review of a cancellation or refund issue.

Refund eligibility may depend on factors such as whether the service has already been activated, configured or materially used, subject to applicable consumer law.

Before commercial launch, Our Chapter should publish the final refund and cancellation rules applicable to its paid offering.

20

Changes to features and the service

Our Chapter is an evolving product. We may add, remove, replace or modify features from time to time.

We may also update interfaces, limits, workflows, integrations or technical requirements.

Where a change materially affects a paid service already purchased, we will take reasonable steps to address the impact fairly, taking into account the circumstances and applicable law.

21

Availability and maintenance

We aim to keep Our Chapter available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

The service may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, upgrades, internet failures, hosting issues, third-party service failures, security events or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We may perform maintenance or emergency changes where reasonably necessary to protect or operate the service.

22

Third-party services

Our Chapter relies on third-party technology and infrastructure providers, which may include Vercel, Supabase, Resend and other providers introduced as the platform develops.

We may also link to third-party vendors, venues, social platforms or external services.

Independent third parties are responsible for their own services, availability and terms.

23

Backups and data loss

We take reasonable measures to operate and protect Our Chapter, but users should not treat the platform as the sole permanent archive for irreplaceable information.

Where appropriate, couples should retain copies of important operational information required for their wedding day.

Account or wedding deletion may permanently remove associated information.

24

Suspension and restriction

We may suspend, restrict or limit access where reasonably necessary to:

  • protect the platform, individuals or data;
  • investigate suspected misuse;
  • comply with legal obligations;
  • address non-payment of an applicable charge;
  • respond to a material breach of these Terms; or
  • prevent ongoing harm or security risk.

Where reasonably practicable, we will attempt to provide notice or an opportunity to resolve the issue.

25

Account termination and deletion

You may stop using Our Chapter and may request account deletion through available product controls or by contacting us.

At present, deletion may permanently remove associated wedding and guest information without a recovery period.

We may terminate an account where there is a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, unlawful activity, security risk or other legitimate reason.

Terms which by their nature should continue after termination, including provisions concerning intellectual property, liability, disputes and outstanding payment obligations, will continue to apply.

26

Disclaimer

Our Chapter is provided as a planning and coordination platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an "as available" basis and we do not guarantee that every feature will always be uninterrupted, error-free or suitable for every wedding, venue or workflow.

Our Chapter does not replace professional wedding planning, legal, financial, accounting, security, medical or other professional services.

27

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to that limitation and to the maximum extent permitted by law, Our Chapter will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive losses arising from use of the service.

This may include loss of profits, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill or losses caused by third-party services or events outside our reasonable control.

Before commercial launch, the final liability cap applicable to paid services should be reviewed and confirmed as part of the final legal review of these Terms.

28

Your responsibility for claims caused by your misuse

To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for losses, liabilities or claims resulting from your unlawful use of Our Chapter, your infringement of another person's rights, or content you upload without the necessary authority.

29

Privacy and personal data

Our collection, use, disclosure and protection of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

Couples remain responsible for their own handling and use of personal data obtained through their wedding planning activities.

30

Electronic communications

You agree that we may send service-related communications electronically, including by email or through the platform.

Service-related messages may include account notices, security information, transaction information, support messages and material changes to the service.

Optional marketing communications are separate and may be subject to additional consent or unsubscribe controls.

31

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time as Our Chapter develops, including when we introduce new features, pricing structures or legal requirements.

The latest version will be published on this page with an updated effective or last-updated date.

Where a change is material, we may provide additional notice by email, through the platform or by another reasonable method.

Changes will apply prospectively as required by applicable law and will not retroactively create a new recurring payment obligation that you did not agree to.

32

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Subject to any rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, disputes relating to these Terms or Our Chapter will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

33

General terms

If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

Our failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.

You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent where such consent is reasonably required.

We may transfer the operation of Our Chapter or these Terms as part of an incorporation, restructuring, acquisition or transfer of the business, subject to applicable law.
